The confidential nature of the work we do means that we cannot normally divulge information about our clients so it is difficult for people to get a true measure of the difference the CALM Centre and its team of volunteers make to people’s lives. However, there is one story that we can share with you.

One of our ex-clients has given consent for us to publish a very moving speech which she gave at an awards ceremony in 2006. An Essex Community Foundation (ECF) grant helped us to provide our service to Linda, amongst others. To read and/or watch the video of her part of her speech please click on the link below.
