CALM is funded entirely from donations from supporters, contributions from clients, fund-raising initiatives and grants for specific projects as project funders rarely support any core services. For information about our fund-raising initiatives please see below and the Events page.

Legacies: Please remember the Counselling and Life Management Centre in your Will. Any amount can be given to registered charities and deducted from the estate free of Inheritance Tax. If you are considering leaving a gift to the CALM Centre in your Will, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you. Please contact our fundraiser on 01279 411330.

Past Fundraising Events have included:

 A sponsored Abseil of a local water tower (110 feet)  A Barn Dance

 A Spanish-themed event of music, food, sangria and flamenco  A Quiz Night

 A sponsored climb of Mount Kilimanjaro  A sponsored runner in the London Marathon

Future Fundraising Events:

 We are looking for volunteers to raise money for us in the abseil for 2011

 More quiz nights - dates to be arranged

 The Harlow Charity Car Park - a date has not yet been arranged for 2011

Contributions: If you are making a donation, and you are a taxpayer, please make sure you complete a “Gift Aid Declaration”, as charities can claim from the Inland revenue for every pound contributed.

Charity Wristbands: Our CALM Centre charity wristbands are only £1 each. For sale at the CALM Centre.
